You can choose whether to validate department-position and badge number information when you import transactions through ODI. If you choose to validate the data, transactions with department-position combinations and badge numbers that do not match current information in the TimeSaver database are rejected. If you choose not to validate that data, the transactions pass through the ODI and show as errors in the View Invalid Transactions module. Turning off validation is helpful if you expect employees to frequently change department-position combinations. You can turn off the validations if you have access to the Security Setup function, or you can contact your payroll or HR administrator who can work with the ADP consultant or TimeSaver Solution Center to turn off the validations. For more about invalid transactions, see View Invalid Transactions Page |
