You can import and export several types of data files through the Open Data Interface (ODI) as long as ADP’s required file formats are used correctly. You can import or export as needed, or you can ask your ADP consultant or the TimeSaver Solution Center to set up automated imports and exports.
The ODI imports and exports are separate from the imports and exports dedicated to data such as payroll, benefit, and employee information.
File format requirements are very specific to the type of record, and sometimes the requirements for the same record type differ depending on whether the record is being exported or imported.
Contact your corporate payroll administrator or HR resource who can work with an ADP consultant to set up the files that you will import or export through the ODI. The Open Data Interface File Formats document found on the ADP4ME web site provides more detail about required formats.
